If you want to let your guest to open a pattern in read only mode, you should grant the user to access the store but uncheck the "Edit", "Add", and "Delete" right for the user. Note that there is a bug in our system that if "Edit" is unchecked, the user cannot open the file. This should be fixed today.

This bug has now been fixed. You should now be able to grant access to the store and then open the file in read‑only mode by leaving Edit, Add, and Delete unchecked — the user will be able to open and view patterns without modifying them.
