How to change default notch

How to change the default notch type from simple notch to custom notch When we import or create notches (for example, covering notches from another software or creating seam notches), the system automatically sets the notch type to simple notch. If we want a different notch type, we currently have to change each notch manually. However, even after making these adjustments, when we use "Work with Sewing Line" to modify something, the notch type automatically resets back to simple notch. Question: How can we change the default notch setting so that when we create notches (either for seams or from imported files), they are automatically created with our preferred notch type instead of reverting to the simple notch?

I checked the issue by adjusting the notch on the sewing line, then switching to the seam line and back to the sewing line. The notch did not reset to a simple notch in our test file.

Could you please send us the imported file at support@padsystem.com so we can test the issue further?

If the file was imported from another software, Padsystem will try to read and display the file as accurately as possible. However, some elements may appear differently due to differences between software formats.

At the moment, we do not have an option to set a default notch type. However, we will pass your feedback to our team for consideration in future software improvements.

Thanks for your answer

If only switch to seam line and back to sewing line, it will no problem. But if we make adjustment pattern after switch to seam line, after switch back, notch seam will back to simple notch. I believe all pattern same problem but i still send my sample pattern to support@padsystem.com
